Communication

The overall concept of nutrhin.net stipulates that nutritional and health relevant results of the scientific work be reported directly to the regional consumer, food manufacturer, and policy maker. The aim here is to utilize current findings from food and nutritional research to improve the health status of the consumers and to offer marketing advantages to the regional manufacturers.

This task is being handled by Aérial, Illkirch, France, (Dr. Dalal Werner) in collaboration with all partners of the different working groups of nutrhi.net. This work is being supported by communication structures already established in the Alsace Region (e. g. Agence de devéloppement de économique du Bas-Rhin ADIRA) and in the state of Baden Württemberg (e. g. nutritional centers, link! Actionplan 2018 of the State of Baden Württemberg, link!). Part of these communication organs are already linked to each other and together present an important communication platform for consumers and multipliers (teachers, educators). Furthermore, the work in the module ‘Communications’ will identify regional SMEs  as well as consumer associations that are important for the activities of the network and will be integrated into the nutrhi.net network concept in the context of the ‘Sustainability’ module.

The communication module, providing cross-border public information and results of the activities within the network along with a strong involvement of regional partners, will therefore offer a sustained value to the region through the amelioration which might positively influence the population well-being and life expectancy.
